troupe 2757 goes to scotland
our journey to edinburgh
It's hard to believe that we have already embarked upon second semester. First semester seemed to fly by with all of the fundraisers we had going on. Our efforts are paying off. I'm happy to announce that due to our efforts and the generosity of our school site, we are half way there! What an exciting feeling. I can really picture us stepping off of the train to the tune of bagpipes this summer!
You know the Visa commercials, the commercials in which they list the expenses of an important life event and end the commercial with the words "Priceless". I have to say that even before we board the plane for this adventure that the experience has already been priceless.
At the beginning of the year, my cast was just a group of individuals who happened to get cast in the show of a lifetime. Over the last six months, it has been so heart warming and endearing to watch what has happened. Here are the priceless moments that have come from working on getting ourselves to Scotland: we are a family, we know how to organize and run a successful fundraiser ( after a few not so successful ones at the beginning of the year), every single student has experienced substantial personal growth, we have more students than ever wanting to be involved in VVHS Drama, we have gained the ability to approach obstacles with determination and hope, we are slowly becoming the pride of our school and community.
